The Value Management Workshop for LRAL2 Phase2 Project has been conducted at Dorsett Hotel, Putrajaya with objective to ensure that the Project delivers the best possible value to stakeholders by optimizing the balance between cost, quality, and performance. It aims to clarify the project’s objectives, eliminate unnecessary costs, and encourage innovative thinking to achieve desired outcomes more efficiently.
Loji Rawatan Air Langat 2 Phase 2 (LRAL2 Phase 2) Project is a continuation of the completion of the Loji Rawatan Air Langat 2 Phase 1 Project. This project needs to be implemented mainly to meet water demand for new developments and future water needs in the states of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. LRAL2 Phase 2 project will be implemented in a Design & Build which divided into seven (7) packages and is expected to be fully completed by 2030.
The three days workshop chaired by PAAB’s Chief Operating Officer, Ir Abdul Samad Sulaiman attended by 81 participants including subject matter experts from various disciplines, representative from PAAB, consultant, Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd, SPAN, UPEN, Majlis Perbandaran Kajang, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya, Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya, Majlis Perbandaran Sepang, Perbadanan Putrajaya, JKR, JPS, KUSEL, TNB and others.
In the workshop, the contributions of ideas, discussions and suggestions from participants were meaningful for the purpose of Value of the Project in term of cost, quality and performance.
The workshop concluded on 10 April 2025 with full comitment from the participants and the objectives of the workshop has been achieved.
